Terms and Conditions

Most important rule of all, please respect our family holiday cottage and treat it as your own to ensure that you and others can continue to use the property.

STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR HOLIDAY RENTALS

Please read carefully. 
By accepting these terms and conditions guests are being given licence to occupy the premises for the duration of the booked period only and following the conditions listed below Any breach of these terms and conditions may result in a claim at NCAT, eviction from the premises and the guests details being listed on a bad guest register.

1. Occupancy

A reasonable number of day visitors are accepted, the number of occupants must not exceed the number stipulated on the booking form and the number of occupants the house advertises. Any breach will terminate the agreement immediately resulting in eviction from the property.

2. The property

The property must be left in a respectable manner, please ensure you have tidied the property, if you have damaged or stained any of the provided linen you may be charged a laundrette fee.

Some toilet paper and some cleaning products are provided, if more is required they are to be supplied by you the guest.
The properties are not fenced so we ask that you please stay inside the boundaries and not on neighbouring property to give respect and privacy.

3. The use of the property

The property is rented to you for holiday purposes only, as we respect you are here to enjoy your time we ask you to follow the law, if you have loud music after the permitted time or are continuing to interrupt neighbouring properties the police may be called, in result to this, you may be asked to return the keys and leave the property.
Complaints from neighbours including those of ‘partying’ are taken extremely seriously and if repeated may result in premature eviction from the property.
Please ensure noise levels are kept at an acceptable level at all times, especially between the hours of 10pm and 8am.

4. Check in
Check in is from 2:00 pm on day of arrival. Your host will be there to greet you unless alternative arrangement has been made.

All damages, breakages and losses, no matter how minor must be reported immediately to your host. Should you discover any damage when you arrive at the property this must be reported as soon as possible to avoid being charged for this damage.

5. Check out

Check out is 10:00 am on day of departure and if the keys are returned late you may be charged a fee (unless prior arrangements have been made.
Cleaning is included in the price of your booking provided the property is left in a condition that we feel to be acceptable.

If extra cleaning is required after your stay the cost of this will be charged to you the guest.
If the outdoor cooking equipment is used and not adequately cleaned then the guest will incur a fee of $50.00
Bins are provided however if there is more rubbish than can be disposed of  on your departure date,  then this is the responsibility of you the guest. 

 

6. Security
The guest agrees that at all times when not occupied the property will be secured, with all locks on all doors and windows being locked especially upon final departure.
If you have a problem securing the property please contact your host before leaving the property unsecured.

7. Restricted Activities
The following list of activities are not allowed and may result in premature eviction and the loss of bond.
Firework Displays
Use of firearms and explosives
Wilful damage to lawns and gardens

8. Pets and Wildlife
We do not accept liability for the presence of any wildlife during your visit.

There are no fences to contain your pets. Please consider alternative arrangements as no pets allowed inside the cottage without prior arrangement.
If a guest is found to have brought pets to a pet-free property without prior arrangement they will be charged for extra cleaning and any damage costs associated with this. This may ultimately result in the loss of the guests bond.

 

If prior arrangement has been granted for your pet to stay please dispose their waste in a correct and befitting manor.
Any bedding or linen provided is not to be used for pets in any way.
Any damage related to the stay of your pets on the property will result in the repair and replacement costs to you the guest.

9. Illegal behaviour
Any behaviour deemed as criminal or illegal will be reported to NSW Police. We retain the right to remove all guests from the property without notice if illegal or criminal behaviour is reported or discovered.

10. Right of Entry
We your hosts retains the right of entry at all times to the property. Where possible notice will be provided.

 

11. Compensation

Compensation will not be paid out to any holiday guest for inconvenience of a break down in appliances or services.

We will not be held liable for any personal injury or loss or damaged of your property while staying as guests at the property.

Travel Insurance is Holiday Guests Responsibility.

12. Safety

Adult supervision of children is essential at all times and any harmful substance or items should be placed out of reach to ensure their safety.

13. Booking

By going ahead and confirming a booking you are agreeing to abide by the Terms and Conditions. Should you fail to comply with these conditions, your tenancy will be terminated and all rental monies  will be forfeited.
